Can I customize the colors and hardware seen in the virtual showroom?
Yes, absolutely! Every product you see in our virtual experience is fully customizable. We offer a wide palette of interior and exterior frame finishes (including dual-color frames), a variety of grid patterns (between-the-glass or simulated divided lites), and premium hardware finishes like brushed nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, and matte black.
Can I still visit your physical showroom in person?
Absolutely! While the virtual showroom is a great place to start, nothing beats the "touch and feel" experience. We'd love to welcome you to our physical location where you can test the locks, feel the weight of the windows and doors, and speak directly with our Design Consultants.
How do I know if it's time to replace my windows or doors?
While every home is different, there are a few "red flags" that could indicate your windows or doors are reaching the end of their lifespan:
- Drafts: You feel air coming in even when everything is closed.
- Foggy Glass: Moisture trapped between panes means the seal has failed.
- Stickiness: They are difficult to open, close, or lock.
- High Bills: Your energy costs are rising for no apparent reason.
How long does the window and door installation process take?
For most homes, our expert installation crews can replace a standard window in about 30 to 60 minutes. A typical whole-home window replacement project (10-15 windows) is usually completed in just one to two days. Entry doors and sliding patio doors generally take 3 to 5 hours to install and completely seal.
Do these windows and doors come with a warranty?
Yes. All of our premium windows and doors come backed by a comprehensive manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty covering the fiberglass frames, glass seal failure, and hardware. NG Windows also provides a lifetime service warranty covering the professional installation.
Why are some replacement window frames thicker than others?
This is often due to the window frame material. Vinyl frames often require a thicker profile for insulation and strength because it is a weaker material, whereas fiberglass has a slimmer profile due to its strength. Ultrex fiberglass is 8x stronger than vinyl.
How much do replacement windows cost?
The investment typically starts around $1,500 to $2,500 per window, depending on size, style, and features. Since every window is custom-made and professionally installed, final pricing can vary. For a full breakdown, check out our full blog on window pricing.
