North Georgia Replacement Windows Gives Back

Covenant Care Adoptions Receives Donated Windows From North Georgia Replacement Windows

MACON, Ga., November 2021 - North Georgia Replacement Windows donated new windows to Covenant Care Adoptions on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

North Georgia Replacement Windows, a Roswell-based window and door replacement company, first met Covenant Care Adoptions last year. They desired to give back a portion of their proceeds from November 2020's sales and were looking for someone to support. Ted Kirk and Jonathan Collum, owners of North Georgia Replacement Windows, hand delivered their check and were able to meet them first hand and get a better understanding of their ministry and vision.

Covenant Care Adoptions was established in 1989 and helps serve the full triad of the adoption process - the birth mom, the adoptive couple, and the adoptee. Serving the entire state of Georgia, their headquarters are located in Macon, GA.

In addition to the day-to-day operations, this building serves as the location where the adoptive couple meets their child for the first time. Likewise, birth mothers are able to hold visits with the adoptive family and child here.

Their older, wood windows were not efficient, as could be seen by their rising energy bills, and it was not in their budget to replace them.

North Georgia Replacement Windows has been extremely blessed, and it is their desire to take those blessings, whether it be monetary or some other form - such as new windows in this case - and be able to share it with others.

'And to know that y'all have given us the longevity that we need to continue to be here. I mean, windows are a huge piece of that, and you have to take care and maintain what God has blessed us with,' stated Carol Gledhill, Covenant's Executive Director. 'And God blessed us with this house through a donor. And so for us to be able to give back and to make sure that we're taking care of the place that families come together is just great.'
